1st Choice Healthcare (1st Choice Healthcare) earned two Quality Awards from the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care (AFMC).  

1st Choice Healthcare received a Platinum Award which recognizes improvement in individual health care organizations’ performance in AFMC’s quality improvement projects.  This award is given to a physician office that satisfy all four of the physician office award criteria, which are:  attesting to Stage 1 Meaningful Use of an electronic health record system, adoption and utilization of population and care management methods, current participation in data reporting quality initiatives and improvement in nationally recognized clinical quality measures.

1st Choice Healthcare also received a Reducing Adverse Drug Events Recognition Award for its outstanding commitment to reduce adverse drug events for its patients.  This Quality Award is designed to recognize improvement in individual health care agencies’ performance in AFMC’s quality improvement projects.
